  6. 1. Description

  8.   ZVolume Pro is a nice, powerful replacement to the standard Windows
  9.   volume control. It can be vastly customized, including changing its
  10.   look using skins. Besides ZVolume Pro has some additional necessary
  11.   functions such as hotkeys and command-line parameters support and
  12.   all other functions that a volume control may have.
  13.  
  14.   ZVolume Pro includes features:
  15.  
  16.    - possibility of controlling of multiple volume controls at the
  17.      same time by the nice graphical interface;
  18.    - adjustment of each volume control using independent window;
  19.    - each window may consist of a mute bar, a volume bar,
  20.      a balance bar and an info bar. Each window has own customizings:
  21.      own skin, a screen placement and configuration of bars;
  22.    - popup menu for easy creating of the control window;
  23.    - unlimited count of the windows;
  24.    - support up to 4 audio mixers;
  25.    - hiding in the system tray only. You can change program's tray
  26.      icon or remove it entirely;
  27.    - watching volume changes and redrawing graphical sliders;
  28.    - support of a bitmap skins with different dimension;
  29.    - special styled cursors feature;
  30.    - controlling volume by customizable hotkeys;
  31.    - support of plugins. A plugin can control other program(s) by
  32.      hotkeys;
  33.    - open plugin interface. It means that the plugin can be written
  34.      by everybody;
  35.    - fast program configuring "on the fly";
  36.    - automatic loading of the program at the system start-up;
  37.    - restoring volume levels on start;
  38.    - auto-save of settings at the system shutdown;
  39.    - forcing Winamp player to save its settings at the system shutdown;
  40.    - support of command-line parameters;
  41.    - support of mouse with rolls or wheels;
  42.    - pure Win32 API code.

  45. 2. Installation

  47.   If you've downloaded the self-extracting installation 
  48.   package named 'zvolpro.exe' just execute it and follow the 
  49.   setup instructions.

  51.   If you've downloaded the compressed archive file named 
  52.   like 'zvolpro.zip' unpack it to the temporary folder 
  53.   and execute the zvolpro.exe file.

  55.   After the succesful installation run the program from
  56.   new 'ZVolume Pro' program group.

  59. 3. Uninstallation

  61.   Run 'Remove ZVolume Pro' from ZVolume Pro group.
